Privacy Policy
Last updated August 30, 2026
This policy explains what information saamp.co (“we,” “us”) collects from visitors and customers, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It is written to match what the site actually does — see each section for specifics.
1. Who we are
saamp.co is operated by Sam Phillips, professionally known as “Saam P”, based in United States (California). For any privacy question or request, contact support@saamp.co.
2. Information we collect
We collect information in four situations:
- Purchases. Checkout runs through Stripe's embedded payment form. Stripe collects your email address and billing address directly — we never see or store your card details. Stripe passes your order email and billing address to us so we can email your download links and keep a sales record.
- Free downloads. Free (price-$0) items are released in exchange for your email address, and submitting it enrolls that address in our mailing list. We use it to send your download link and, from that point, release announcements and offers. This is disclosed on the form itself, above the submit button. Every marketing email carries a one-click unsubscribe; unsubscribing is effective at any time and does not affect anything you have already downloaded. If you would prefer the download without the mailing list, contact us at support@saamp.co and we will send it to you directly.
- Licensing & support inquiries. If you submit a name, email, and message through an exclusive-license request form, that content is emailed directly to us to respond to your request. It is not written to a database by our systems; its retention beyond that is whatever our email provider or inbox retains.
- Analytics. We record anonymous, first-party usage data: a random session identifier generated in your browser's local storage (not a cookie), the page path you visited, the referring page, and a coarse country derived from a hosting-provider header (we do not store your IP address). This is used only to understand aggregate traffic to the site; it is not tied to your name or email address and is not shared with ad networks. We currently do not use Google Analytics, Meta/Facebook Pixel, TikTok Pixel, PostHog, Plausible, or any other third-party analytics or advertising tracker.
3. How we use information
- To deliver the digital product(s) you purchased or requested.
- To send order confirmations and, where Stripe issues one, a payment receipt.
- To respond to support and licensing/clearance inquiries.
- To send release announcements and offers to addresses enrolled by claiming a free download, or opted in through the marketing checkbox we used before August 30, 2026. A purchase alone does not enroll you.
- To understand aggregate site usage and improve the archive.
- To detect and prevent abuse of public forms and endpoints.
4. Third-party service providers
We use the following processors to run the site. Each handles only what's described:
- Stripe — payment processing, checkout, billing address collection, receipts. Card data never reaches our servers.
- Cloudflare (R2) — private storage for the product files themselves (audio files, covers). No personal data is stored here.
- Vercel — hosting, and server logs generated by normal request handling (see §8 for retention).
- Neon (Postgres) — stores the anonymous analytics described in §2.
- Resend — sends order/download emails and marketing emails; also holds the marketing contact list.
- Google (Apps Script / Sheets) — free-kit email addresses are also logged to a private spreadsheet we use for our own lead tracking.
Each provider's own data-processing terms, security practices, and sub-processor list are set by that provider and are not reproduced here. Owner must confirm current data processing agreement status directly with each vendor if required for your compliance program.
6. International visitors
saamp.co sells internationally. If you access the site from outside the United States, your information will be processed in the United States and by the processors listed above, which may be located in other countries. This transfer and processing is necessary to provide the products, delivery, and support you request from us.
7. California privacy notice
We are based in California. Depending on the volume and nature of data processed, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) may or may not apply to this business — we make no assumption either way. If it applies to you, you may have rights to know, delete, and correct personal information, and to opt out of "sale" or "sharing" (we do not sell personal information). To exercise any right described in this policy, contact support@saamp.co.
8. How long we keep information
| Data | Retention target |
|---|---|
| Purchase & tax records | 7 years |
| License / clearance records | Life of the license, plus 7 years |
| Support & licensing inquiries | 3 years after the last communication |
| Custom (first-party) analytics | 13 months |
| Ordinary server logs | 30 days, where the hosting provider allows configuring this |
| Abandoned / incomplete form submissions | 90 days |
| Marketing contacts | Until you unsubscribe, withdraw consent, or after 24 months of inactivity |
| Suppression / unsubscribe records | Kept as long as needed to honor your opt-out |
These are our internal targets. Our processors (Stripe, Resend, Vercel, Neon, Cloudflare, Google) each have their own retention schedules for the data they hold on our behalf, which may differ from the targets above and are governed by their own terms.
9. Your rights & how to reach us
You can ask us to tell you what information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, and you can withdraw marketing consent or unsubscribe at any time. Email support@saamp.co with your request; we'll respond as promptly as we can. Note that purchase and tax records may need to be retained even after a deletion request, where we have a legal obligation to keep them.
10. Children's privacy
This site is not directed at children. Users under 13 may not submit personal information or join our marketing list. See the age requirements in our Terms of Use.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site or our processors change. Material changes will update the "Last updated" date above.
